General structure of the Artifact System.
Artifact Types
Artifacts are divided into 4 types corresponding to the character's skills: Basic Skills, Core Skills, Tactical Skills, and Ultimate Skills. Starting from Lv. 64, Basic Skills artifacts unlock first. Additional types unlock at higher levels.
- •4 Types: Basic, Core, Tactical, Ultimate
- •Basic Skills unlock first at Lv. 64
Understanding minor and major ability slots.
Slot Types and Unlocking
Each Artifact has several minor ability slots and one major ability slot. Minor slots can be equipped with [Power], major slot with [Artifact Core]. Unlocking an ability slot activates its corresponding [Activation Effect].
- •Exchange [Artifact Energy] for [Conduction Crystals] to unlock slots
- •[Artifact Energy] is obtained from the Artifact Shop or Dragon Guild > Artifact Treasure Hunt
The minor abilities of your Artifacts.
Embedding Power
Minor ability slots are Offensive and Defensive. Offensive Power or Defensive Power can be embedded. The number of Powers per artifact is limited. Embedding a Power activates its [Embedding Effect] and enhances the slot's [Activation Effect]. Higher quality = stronger bonuses.
- •Offensive or Defensive types
- •Enhances Activation Effect
- •Higher quality provides stronger bonuses
The major abilities of your Artifacts.
Core Mechanics
Each Artifact has one major ability slot with one [Artifact Core]. Embedding a Core activates [Embedding Effect] and enhances [Activation Effect]. Higher quality Cores of the same type provide stronger bonuses.
- •One Core per Artifact
- •Activates Embedding Effect
- •Enhances Activation Effect
How to optimize your Mythic and Legendary Artifact Cores.
Rerolling Process
Mythic and Legendary Relic Cores can be Rerolled by consuming [Artifact Energy] and [Artifact Essence]. Rerolling grants random [Divine Attributes] which are divided into [Base Stats] and [Legendary Attributes]. Each Rerolling attempt replaces previous results and all Divine Attributes disappear.
- •Requires Artifact Energy and Essence
- •Yields Base Stats and Legendary Attributes
- •Replaces previous stats upon rerol
Seal Function
Consume [Artifact Essence] to use the [Seal] function and retain current Rerolling results. When new results come, sealed results can replace current results after seal removal. Removing seal also removes its effect. Each Relic Core can have only one set of [Divine Attributes] sealed at a time.
- •Consumes Artifact Essence
- •Retains one set of Divine Attributes
- •Only one set can be sealed per core
Managing the degradation of your artifacts.
Durability Mechanics
[Power] and [Artifact Cores] have Durability that varies by Quality. Durability is deducted when winning battles in applicable game modes. When Durability reaches zero, [Embedding Effect] and [Activation Effect] become inactive until replenished.
- •Varies by Quality
- •Deducted upon winning battles
- •Effects become inactive at zero durability
How to restore durability to your items.
Replenishment Rules
Can only be replenished when at zero. Amount restored equals current Durability of consumed item, cannot exceed target's max.
- •Mythic/Legendary Cores: consume an identical Artifact Core item (unlimited replenishments)
- •Normal/Rare/Epic Cores: consume a Core of the same Quality (max 2 replenishments, then item disappears if zero again)
- •Powers: consume a Power of the same Quality (max 2 replenishments)
Breaking down unused artifacts.
Disassembly Process
Select [Power] or [Artifact Cores] and Disassemble to obtain [Combat Soul Coins]. These can be exchanged for materials in Market > Artifact Shop.
- •Yields Combat Soul Coins
- •Exchange coins in Market > Artifact Shop
How to build your core combinations effectively.
Strategy Steps
Follow these steps to optimize your build:
- •First, consider your damage-dealing method: sustained damage while standing still, damage while moving frequently, or burst damage through skill rotations.
- •Next, establish synergy between mechanics, combine cores based on the 'trigger an effect -> utilize the effect' principle. (e.g., 'apply a debuff -> reset Ultimate')
- •Consider dungeon duration: short dungeons = quick effects; long dungeons = stacking effects with higher limits.
- •Ideally, all 4 cores should work together to provide maximum bonuses.
Choosing the right minor nodes for your build.
Recommendations
Minor nodes can provide bonuses to your Talent Skills, so embed nodes that correspond to the Talent Skills you currently have equipped.
- •Core Skills damage reliance: choose Power Nexus.
- •Tactical Skills damage reliance: choose Strong Nexus.
- •For PvP content, defensive nexuses are recommended.
Best affixes to aim for during Rerolling.
Priority Affixes
Focus on obtaining the most beneficial attributes based on your content focus.
- •General: Prioritize the Eternal Core affix (ignores durability loss), then Core Overload and Core Enhancement.
- •Artifact Vault Rewards: Perception, Final Break, Holy Light, and Dispel (based on team needs).
- •Character Stats: Rapid Strike, Fierce Assault, Wound Control, and Taming.
- •Stat Amplifications: Core Embedding Amplification, Core Activation Amplification, Basic Skill Amplification.
- •Resonance: Prioritize affixes that activate Dual Source Resonance and Tri-core Fusion.
Crucial tips for long-term progression.
Tips and Tricks
Keep these strategies in mind:
- •Keep an eye on Artifact Rerolling events and perform your rerolls together to earn progress rewards.
- •Prioritize Eternal Core for your frequently used main set. Use temporary Artifacts during daily auto-farming to conserve durability.
- •Save separate setups for Abyss/Secret Realm, Expedition, and Artifact Vault to reduce repeated rerolling and unnecessary durability loss.
Core Examples (From Official Guide)
